The tournament started at noon. There were 3,102 people. I never really got started all day long but I managed to last through 490ish. I went back to the room and planned out what we were going to do for the evening. We decided to go to the Gold and Silver Pawn Shop, the pawn shop from the TV show "Pawn Stars." None of the stars were there. They work during the week so I'm going to try again later. After that we went to Fremont Street which was just down the road. Really cool to see what "old Vegas" was like. The lights show above your head that I heard so much about.... sucked. We ate dinner in the Golden Nugget at an Asian cuisine restaurant. It was very tasty. After that we walked up and down seeing all the sights on Fremont Street. There were some really interesting people. All the bright lights were pretty cool. Went into Binions. It is where the WSOP first started. They have a wall full of pictures of each former winners of the WSOP and all the hall of fame players. You can have your picture made standing in front of a million dollars. Unfortunately it was closed and I could not take a picture with the money. There is a lot of history in this casino. I am glad I was able to see. Afterwards we headed back to the Rio. I hope to go to the Sphere tomorrow.
